URL Demos

Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

1. Scope

This policy describes how the operator of URL Demos processes personal information when you use our website and demo-making service. For privacy questions or requests, contact gencast.ai@gmail.com. Third-party websites, sign-in providers, AI providers, and payment providers have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we process

We process account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers; projects you choose to save, including website URLs, titles, steps, narration, and preferences; prompts and website content submitted for AI generation; and correspondence you send us. Social sign-in may provide basic account information according to the permissions you authorize.

Loading a website through our proxy sends its URL and requests through our infrastructure. AI features send relevant prompts, page content, and narration text to the providers needed to generate a result. Technical information such as IP addresses, request details, browser information, and error or security logs may be processed by our infrastructure providers.

If you purchase a paid service, Stripe processes payment details. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription information, and related billing details. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored in your project.

3. How information is used

We use information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate users, save and load projects, generate scripts and speech, manage payments and usage, respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, legal obligations, or consent where required. We do not claim ownership of your personal information.

4. Service providers and disclosure

Information is shared as needed with providers supporting hosting, account authentication, project storage, AI and speech generation, payments, and operational support. Current services include Lovable Cloud, AI services accessed through Lovable, and Stripe for payments. AI request data is handled under the relevant providers’ terms and privacy policies; do not submit sensitive information or confidential material you are not authorized to share.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and security, investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable safeguards. This policy does not authorize unrelated use of your projects.

5. Browser storage and recordings

The studio uses browser storage to remember your draft and settings. Authentication may use browser storage or cookies to maintain your session. You can clear this information through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or remove unsaved work.

Video capture and speech-speed processing run in your browser. The rendering workflow produces a local video download rather than automatically uploading the rendered recording to us. Separately, content used for AI requests and projects you explicitly save is transmitted to the relevant services. Browser capture permissions are controlled by you and your browser.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and satisfy operational, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements. Retention varies by data type and purpose. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or records that must be retained by law.

We use access controls and other safeguards designed to protect information. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep credentials secure and avoid loading pages containing sensitive personal information you do not need for a demo.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Send requests to gencast.ai@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Rights are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions; some records may need to be retained. You can choose not to use AI features, not to save projects to your account, or to clear local browser data.

8. International processing and children

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required by law, transfers must be subject to appropriate legal safeguards. The Service is not directed to children under 13 or any higher minimum age required locally. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.
